Dental Services for Children in Public Schools
Building on several school-based medical clinics operated by Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health’s Center for Community Health and Education, Community DentCare has established seven school-based dental clinics. Each clinic offers comprehensive diagnostic, preventive or comprehensive dental care during the school day to students in some New York City Public Schools, located in Region 10. The clinics are staffed with a dentist, post-doctoral students, dental hygienists, dental assistants and a patient escort.

Our full service clinic located at IS 143 in Washington Heights offers complete dental care, which includes:
