A ‘74 graduate of Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery, my father demonstrated his love and excellence of the dental profession by taking time from his busy Manhattan private practice to give back to Columbia University. For over twenty years, he left a lasting impression on many graduates, myself included, while he volunteered as an Instructor of Clinical Dentistry. To commemorate my father’s legacy, the Henry Chang Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established at Columbia University CDM. The income from this endowed fund, which will exist in perpetuity, will help CDM students who demonstrate clinical excellence. The net proceeds from this annual golf outing will be added to the fund, and thus your gift will help each generation of Columbia graduates as they go on to make their marks on the world. The Henry Chang Jr. Memorial Golf Outing was established in 2002 to honor the memory of my father, Henry Chang Jr., DDS (1943 – 2001). An avid golfer, his passion for the game was obvious in his 5:30 am tee times whether there was sun, rain or snow. This gusto for living life to its fullest encompassed all aspects of his life, and was reflected by his outstanding skills as a dentist. 
The 6,900 yard layout, set in a valley and bordered on one side by a mountain ridge, offers one striking view after another. The course’s design incorporates dramatic elevation changes, gently undulating fairways, mature native trees, lakes and a crystal clear trout stream that runs through the property.
