We will be holding the Suture / Application Workshop.
The application workshop will be held at 5:30pm on March 13. The room is ph-17 rm 101.
The suture workshop will follow around 6pm.

So, tommorow there will be food provided...in the form of pizza.
The voting will begin promptly at 5:15 PM via "ultra secret ballot."
Location: PH-17 rm. 305 at 5:00 PM
Following elections will be an Radiographic Imaging Workshop.
The entire meeting shouldn't last past 7 PM. So if you have tests or
whatever, at least come and have a study snack.

Firstly, we would like the congratulate all the fourth years that
successfully matched to their Oral Surgery Residency Programs.
Here is a list of the upcoming events that we have scheduled for the remainder of the year:
2/13 - Elections and Radiographic Imaging Workshop (room TBA)
3/13 - Residency application workshop and Suturing workshop
4/17 - Knowledge Bowl (battle of the classes)
4/27 - Banquet
Only 3rd years are allowed to run for President/VP. Secretaty and
Treasurer will be open to 2nd and 3rd years. If you are
interesting in running for a position, please email Robin (ry2121@columbia.edu) a paragraph
of what and why you would be good for that certain position. The paragraphs for positions are going to be
due by 9 pm on 2/11. The parapraghs will then be fowarded to the Society Members and we will
vote that Tuesday (2/13) before the Imaging Workshop.
Lastly, dues are going to be due for all the memebers who paid last
year. $40 for 3rd and 2nd years. The dues are going to such
things as food, materials for workshops, as well as the end of the
year banquest/kegfest with associated awards.

The exact time and room will be announced soon, but plan on it being around 5:30 to 6pm.

The selected areticles are about Maxillofacial Trauma and Oral Cancer.
Those are the two topics that Dr. Roser will cover on December 9th.
We apologize that the journal club is on tuesday and we know the 4th years have clinic.
We are trying to look into other days of the week, but faculty coverage is an issue right now.
