Students will take turns presenting research articles, clinical studies, and literature reviews that explore the intricate relationships between oral and systemic health, for examples, how jaw morphology impacts

respiration/sleep; how the oral microbiome impacts risk of Type II diabetes; how estrogen signaling impacts TMJ disease, etc. The Oral-Systemic Journal Club may expand to include presentations from providers or professionals who focus on this intersection between dentistry and total-body care.
