Oral-Systemic Journal Club

Mission: OSJC will keep members abreast of the latest advancements in research, fostering a culture of continuous learning and evidence based practice.
Students will take turns presenting research articles, clinical studies, and literature reviews that explore the intricate relationships between oral and systemic health, for examples, how jaw morphology impacts
respiration/sleep; how the oral microbiome impacts risk of Type II diabetes; how estrogen signaling impacts TMJ disease, etc. The Oral-Systemic Journal Club may expand to include presentations from providers or professionals who focus on this intersection between dentistry and total-body care.
