ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

The Louis Mandel, DDS Fund, an endowed fund, has been established by Dr. Mandel and his family to provide research support for students, residents, and faculty early in their careers in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at CDM. Our goal is to increase the amount in the fund to establish an endowed Assistant Professorship in Dr. Mandel’s name.

An acclaimed researcher and practitioner, Dr. Louis Mandel has noted that of all his scholarly activities, teaching is what he loves best. Over the course of his 70 year tenure at Columbia, he has worked with many dental students, often involving them in his research and manuscript writing. Please join alumni and friends of the College of Dental Medicine in honoring Dr. Louis Mandel and supporting the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
