Do not fax credit card information. Payment must follow by mail, or call the Continuing Education office at 212-305-7124 to make payment over the phone.


Please try to register in advance to avoid disappointment if the class is full.

We encourage early registration as seating is limited. Most course fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Online payments accepted with American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa.


College of Dental Medicine alumni receive a 10% discount on most Continuing Education courses. Alumni who graduated within 5 years of a course receive a 20% discount. College of Dental Medicine faculty and staff receive a 50% discount on tuition. Retired alumni not requiring Continuing Education credits or certifications may audit courses at no charge, depending on space availability.

Cancellations and Refunds

Please notify the Continuing Education Office of a cancellation at least 3 business days prior to the start of the course in order to receive a refund or credit.

Cancellations for continuum courses must be received at least three weeks prior to start of course to be eligible for a refund of the deposit and will result in a $500 processing fee.

Columbia University cannot assume responsibility for losses due to emergencies, unforeseen circumstances, or participants' travel arrangements. Course fees for no-shows will be forfeited.

Occasionally, courses are cancelled due to lack of enrollment or inclement weather, in which case a full refund is granted.
