Application and Guidelines
The Summer Research Fellowship Program is a competitive research opportunity offered to current Columbia dental students who wish to participate in a basic, clinical, or translational research project. Applications are reviewed by the College of Dental Medicine Research Committee, and selected students receive a stipend of approximately $2,500. Stipend amount and number of selected students are based on the availability of funds.
Eligibility
First-year Columbia DDS students in good academic standing are eligible to apply. You must be able to spend the months of July and August full-time on your project.
How to Apply
- Applications are available on March 1st.
- Complete all sections with your mentor.
- Email the completed application to Dr. Chang Lee, chl2109@cumc.columbia.edu.
Summer fellowship recipients are announced at the beginning of June.
